Students in all grades are explicitly taught what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Inclusive—our school’s Core Values. Through lessons, read-alouds, and community circles, students learn how to model these values in classrooms, on the playground, in the hallways, and more.
Positive behaviors are acknowledged in a variety of ways. Staff members can reward students with Puma Tickets, which can be redeemed at our Puma Store. In addition, every Friday during Morning Gathering, we recognize students and staff with Puma Shout Outs for making a positive impact on our school community.
By promoting positive behaviors school-wide, we create more time for meaningful learning and help every Puma thrive.
