PTA - Parent Teacher Association The PTA is an organization that encourages parent and teacher collaboration to provide an outstanding education for all students. We at Nesbit are fortunate to have such a giving PTA that not only provides assemblies, classroom supplies, and fieldtrip funds but also values and supports families. |

The PTA encourages families to become active members in their child's education by attending PTA meetings and family functions such as the Family Picnic, Candy Cane Lane, Founder's Day, the Halloween Festival, and the Multi-Cultural potluck/Silent Auction. We also encourage hands-on activities for parents such as creating the yearbook, passing out hot lunches, teaching students Art in Action, fundraising, becoming a room parent and more.

This is a great way to become more involved in your school and meet some other volunteers and parents. We welcome all levels of experience and inexperience. Our main focus is to find people who are energetic and who want to make a difference in their child’s school – and have fun doing it!
