Arrivals:
Kindergarten hours are from 8:35 - 12:40 daily. Students line up outside the Kindergarten classrooms at the front of the school.
Children grades 1-5, arriving on campus before 8:10 should report directly to the office, as there is no adult supervision on the campus at that time. Students may be on the playground after 8:10. When the 8:25, bell rings, students will line up on the blacktop with their classes. Any student arriving after 8:25 must stop in the office for a tardy slip.
Dismissals:
Kindergarten dismissal is at 12:40 daily. There are no early dismissal days for Kindergarten.
Students in grades 1-3 are dismissed at 2:35 and grades 4-5 at 3:10 every day but Wednesday, when all students in grades 1-5 are dismissed at 12:20. Please be prompt in picking up your student immediately following school, as there is no after school supervision. If there is an emergency and students cannot picked up within 10 minutes of dismissal, students must report to the office to call home. For the safety of your children, no student is allowed to beon the play yard waiting for parents who are delayed
Illness:
If your child is ill, you are required to call the school office at 637-4860 ext. 2488 each day of the absence to let us know that the child will not be in school. For your children's safety, our office staff must verify the whereabouts of the absent children and will need to reach you if you have not called in. The office is staffed between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. At all other times, an answering machine is on particularly for absence reporting. In consideration of others, children who are feeling ill should not be sent to school so that they can get better, and so that other children don't get sick. Students may not come to school if they have had a fever within the past 24 hours. Thank you for helping us with this important issue.
