The quiet reading tepee went up for Native American Indian month as well as decorations/books for voting, Thanksgiving, Veterans Day and two fall leaf wall hanging quilts.
At lunch recess some of the students enjoy coming into the library to help reshelf books. They earn stars for putting books away and those stars can purchase little prizes. The added bonus, of course, is that the students learn how to locate books and they frequently find one that is just too good not to sit down and read!
